How we want to celebrate Easter –celebrities

March 26, 2016 Ademola Olonilua As Easter is celebrated worldwide, Nigeria’s top celebrities tell Saturday Beats how they would be celebrating this festive season Bimbo Akintola I intend to spend this Easter holiday with my family. I always ensure that I go to church every Easter Friday and Sunday. What my family members have planned is that all the children would go to our parents’ house with the grandchildren and it would be a full house. We would cook, eat and make noise. I am really excited about this season because it is fun and spending time with my siblings and family brings back lovely childhood memories. Ruth Kadiri My birthday was on Thursday so I am going to extend the celebration till Monday. It would be more or less like a double celebration for me. I plan to take a break off work and hang out with my friends. Already, I have made reservations at a private Island somewhere in Lagos and that is where my friends and I would be. I doubt I would visit family members or travel out of Lagos since I have already made plans to play with my friends. IK Ogbonna Throughout this month, I have been working all and I have not had enough time to rest and play with my family whom I love very dearly. So, I would seize this opportunity to spend quality time with them. I have decided to dedicate Friday, Saturday and Sunday to my family and God. I would go to church on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and after service, I would go home with my family or we would go to the beach to have some fun. We might go for AY Live on Sunday to have a good laugh. Faze I have a lot of events lined up during this Easter season. I had been in Port-Harcourt since Wednesday because I had about two shows to attend. From there, I moved to Lagos because I am billed to perform at the Kennis Music Easter Fiesta on Sunday. Since I would be in Lagos, I will attend my mother’s church because it has been a while I have spent some time with her. I am not too happy that I won’t be able to spend time with my family this Easter because of work but I have made arrangements for the kids to have a swell time. I have asked my sisters to take them out and have a good time. Adunni Ade My plan for this Easter period is very simple and it is to spend time with my children. I will definitely go to church on Sunday and after church, I may decide to take my children out but that depends on my mood. It would just be my children and I as usual. I would prefer if my extended family come and visit me instead of going to pay them a visit.
